This journey started with a camera, a cross-country move, and one very patient toddler.
It began in 2015 when I was gifted my very first camera - right before we packed up our lives and moved from Maryland to Las Vegas. I started photographing our adventures and our daughter, who was just 18 months old at the time, and that’s where the spark started.
Since then, we’ve travelled the country, living in Maryland, Nevada, and now Virginia. (Shout out to all the military families out there!) With each move, my love for photographing growing families has only gotten stronger.
Grace & Faith Photography is named after my daughters, and everything I do is rooted in the love they inspire.
No pressure. No weird posing. No need to apologize if your baby needs a snack or your toddler throws a tantrum. I build every session around your people, however they show up.
As a mom and military spouse, I’ve learned how to roll with it. I’m patient, unbothered by the chaos, and always tuned into what your family needs in the moment. Whether it’s a newborn session, a milestone celebration, or a first birthday cake smash, I’m here to make the experience feel easy, comfortable, and fun!
Murphy’s Law & My Family’s Wild Ride
If something can go wrong, it will... and my family has lived that on repeat.
During my husband’s first deployment to Afghanistan, life threw everything it had at us. In just a short stretch, I lost two grandparents, my car was hit by flying tire debris on the interstate (while driving home from their funerals), and my kids caught pink eye. Then COVID hit.
with a whole lot of grace and faith.
When it rains it pours, right? So there I was: solo-parenting, homeschooling a kindergartener AND a preschooler, all while editing galleries, scheduling photo sessions and answering emails during nap time.
What I learned?
Go with the flow. Sh*t happens.
And somehow, we made it through...
Yes, I’m a proud cat lady. No shame, full fluff.

→ I’d live outside if I could, but also... I love editing in yoga pants from my couch.
→ Dresses? Heels? Not a chance. You’ll find me in photography tees, jeans, or gym shorts.
→ My family are homebodies who bond over Minecraft, snacks, and not leaving the house.
→ Breakfast food is superior, even if it’s leftovers. Especially if it’s leftovers.
